Dr. Taryn Dentinger Lindbeck
certified veterinary acupuncturist
Born and raised in Duluth, Taryn graduated from Carleton College with her undergraduate degree in biology, then earned her DVM at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Beginning her career at a mixed practice in Wisconsin, she returned to Duluth in 2003 to practice equine medicine. In 2008, she completed the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society training course and achieved certification in veterinary acupuncture. From 2008 - 2013, she practiced exclusively acupuncture in the Duluth area, treating dogs, cats, and horses for wellness and performance. From 2014-2018, she based her practice in northern Wisconsin, continuing to provide highly individualized complementary care for her patients of all species across northern Wisconsin and northeastern MN. As of January 1, 2019, Taryn and her family have relocated to southern Minnesota, and she will be offering her services in the southwest Metro and 169 corridor to Mankato.
Taryn competes with her Arabian gelding Rhio in American Endurance Ride Conference distance rides, usually at the 50 mile distance. She also acts as a veterinary judge for distance rides. She shares her life with her husband (also a veterinarian) and son, two dogs, two Arabians, and two Miniature Horses.
